Sorry to be honest, but I think you'll learn the hard way with this Clio venture. Sounds to me that you're just desperate to own one as soon as possible no matter the mechanical condition. Dont get me wrong, I hope all goes well and you find a gem, but I'm sure a few of the other lads will...

Low owners means nothing too. Personally after reading this thread, I'd advise saving for another month or two. One WILL come up. rather that, than buy one, have It break down, pay £XXX in repair bills and be back to square one. Patience is a virtue! :approve:

Running a marathon?

I take it back. I just found a photo on my phone of my trip to Nottingham. I got 44mpg on the way there (utter lies) and then 34 on the way back. I did 386 miles in total and was just about peppered for fuel. I'd say you could do it, but as mentioned, you'll die of boredom letting mini metros...
