Right,
First of all, the speedlines had to be returned because it turned out they were basically square and had been badly repaired in the past.
But things get better,
Some goodies turned up from Kam Racing this morning
Spent the afternoon fitting them, the sun was out which made things that...
Frankly I was amazed that Admiral didn't really seem that fussed about it, but I think they only permit two mods on their policies so limited with what else I can do
Silverstones were only silver, some systems (god knows why) seem to get it wrong, one of ones I ran my reg through said mine was a silverstone... :S
From the details you've given sounds like a good deal, especially as storm grey is quite desirable, bare in mind the belts will need to be done in...
Nah definitely not a replacement, just to compliment it.
Yeh had it fitted when I bought it and it's such a great sound, just makes you want to redline it everywhere
Yeh I kind of feel a diesel wagon coming on, maybe...
Yep same boat, got an akra so I (and most people in the surrounding area) am aware if any enthusiastic driving happens, part of the fun tho
Am 22, had it about six months now, so the enjoyment might wear off, although I only commute 3/4 days a week.
I would consider getting an eco daily but that's more to avoid the 27mpg I get rather than not enjoying the drive.
I've never had a problem with 3/4 hour journeys in mine, and having cruise control means you can move around a little. Would defo recommend testing regular seats as well as recaros as some people just don't get along with them
I use my 200 as a daily and it's an absolute joy (minus the MPG obviously), do about 20 miles a day and I don't get stuck in much traffic so have lots of chances to enjoy the car on A and B roads. Even with a louder exhaust, cup chassis and recaros it isn't uncomfortable or tiring.
Sometimes my VPN gets the DNS confused (think it tries to query the wrong IP) so I just set it back to default (e.g. Google 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4) and that often sorts it.
That's the plan, they're next on the shopping list. They're the cup racer alloys so they're slightly wider so will see how they look when they're on.
I remember mate, cheers, it's coming on nicely, hopefully have everything fitted soon for this nice weather.
So small-ish update before hopefully a bigger one next week.
New wheels.
Been sitting in my room for about 2 weeks tripping me up every day waiting to get them refurbed, should be going in this week and then fitted in time for the Easter weekend, hopefully.
And as it was a sunny sunday I...
Thought I'd throw in a quick update from the South Central Surrey Rolling Road day yesterday, managed a respectable 192.8hp so that's all good.
Was the only 200 to run during the day, but was putting out at least 10hp more than all the stock(ish) 197s.
193hp seems a good starting point going...
