They're easy on the piston, just a normal caliper really. It's the mechanism inside thay can become non functional. You want to measure the distance the piston moves when operating the mech
I've no idea, but i've had it before. Maybe creating additional resistance within the circuit? This is linked to the cruise control.
I'm not saying it will definitely fix the issue here, but its worth replacing for £8
On first glance looked like the first letter was being made into a G or an E when it was in fact a C but it's not now I've zoomed in and it is actually a G! Just looks funny for some reason, wasnt sure if previous owner was trying to make it into initials or something

Imho just run the red updated genuine part from renault. I have this and 2 polybushes in my rear exhaust mount and they're perfect.

You'll want some 3.9ohm resistors for your airbag. You triple over the legs and then push them in.

Cat looks good, but why didnt you have the flexi welded to the sports cat instead? If the flexi goes then you have to have the whole thing cut off. You cant just remove the cat, fit a decat and send it off for a new flexi
