I'll definitely have a quick look for one of those next time I pass a Lidl. I want something small enough that I can strap in the boot ideally using the standard strap near the O/S tail light.
Cheers Mike!
No but I'd rather be able to lift it up to save damaging the rim or tyre if it's salvageable.
Incidentally the standard jack is also broken, as well as the bits on my sills where the broken bit it supposed to slot through.
I found one in the garage :D
But I need something I can carry around in case I get a flat tyre whilst out and about. There's nowhere to put it in the boot :dapprove:
Me - until this evening.
I thought 'what the f**ks up with this nut' and then this just snapped clean off. I've done it before to a ratchet - snapped the little square connecting bit off but that was when I was using a piece of scaffolding pipe as a breaker bar and stood about 5ft away. There...
Looks good. I remember doing mine gold and everyone hated it... now everybody likes it and is asking me the colour code etc. ;)
It'll be difficult to get it the same colour in the Photoshop though. I do think it looks good as it is too.
That first one with orange wheels would be something else! Do they not have satin wrap as a bit of a compromise? Gloss could look alright but I see what you mean about the primered look.
I love that rear tow eye! Awesome.
There are a couple of grey 172/182s knocking about but I can't remember the owners. Could be worth a search on here.
I know ;) I do early starts too which didn't matter too much (3am going to work sometimes) but it was mainly the (unwanted) attention it was getting when driving around. Sounds good on track though.
