I agree with this entirely !
It does look like it needs some work though! But it'd be worth it because in its current condition it won't be worth a huge amount.
Old British bikes are gaining in value a lot.
Heart broken for you buddy
Sorry for your losses !!
I have an 850 commando also, if you need any advice at any point let me know. Also if you do decide to sell let me know..
All I'll add to this is that when I took pzeros off of the abarth and stuck on some pilot sports it was like a different car.
I found the Pirelli noisy and lacking in feel in general.
I know many of the roads in that video, to be honest most of the roads in Kent and London are full of complete grade A c*nts.
I get more trouble with people when I'm in the car than on my bike thankfully. Probably due to the time of day I go out.
Too many idiots on the road. It's often not...
I love the Pani mate. The s1000 is a fantastic bike and really flatters your riding but I just didn't fall in love with it.. It's a little clinical ?!
It's great at everything and honestly as a road superbike I don't think there's a better one out there, but it didn't make me want to buy it...
Rsv4 and s1000rr were the two main bikes in my mind when I was getting a new bike last year. Ended up with a panigale but in all honesty they are all epic but very different to each other at the same time.
The new r1 isn't a great road bike and feels like a very fast plank of wood to ride...
Not common ha ha ha
They're talking sh*te. It's probably THE most common mechanical defect on the 200s.
There's lots of threads on here about it which you can use to bolster your argument.
