Bin it... it won't get good reception and they look a bit pants. You could try a Mazda 3 aerial, or a Citroen C2 VTS aerial (eBay) - both look better and are standard aerials. Just small!
You can buy a fully-working decent 172 for the amount it would cost to do an engine conversion these days (including all the effort and trial + error you will have to put in).

They are alright, they definitely are firm compared to your every day hatchback but nothing compared to (FK, for example) coilovers.
On the KW's, it feels the same firmness as it did standard.
Well spotted! The Saxo was a VTS and kept nailing it on the straights and pulling a bit, then slowing right down for corners. Every one of those GTI's was charged/ITB'd :'(
