Get one of the 3/4 height but standard length one, not many people on here have trouble with the police with those ones.

Cheers, I'll have a look at it tomorrow. The engine seems to be drinking coolant too, not overheating though and no s**t in the oil cap. Could this all be related, and I have a fooked radiator? I'm thinking it has been front-ended at some point.

So that could be the cause of the melting? Is it bolted to the wrong place entirely?

The plastic has all melted away near the bottom of this spring thing. The whole thing can move like it's on some sort of hinge, where are they usually? Could this be what's melted the rad, as I'm having coolant problems too?

As I say it's got some wiring going into a clip that's attatched to it. It's melted a huge bit out of the plastic on my rad, or at least something around there has. Any ideas?

It's a piece of metal with some sort of spring on it in front of the airbox (closest to the bonnet), and seems to be holding a clip, where some wires clip into. Does anyone know what I'm talking about without me getting a pic as it's pitch black? It seems to have melted the plastic off my...

It shouldn't be worse than standard. If it's stainless, it'll probably be the same as standard bhp but won't fall to pieces.

You're better off with cat-back Claire, that's the backbox and centre section. My centre has just snapped in half because it's old lol.
