Guessing it's the Xenon ballast? You can get full HID kits, with these, bulbs and wiring for £40. You won't need a full new unit at all. People sell used ballsts on here for cheap too.
I had my rear bumper sprayed for £60 and had no problems whatsoever with that. The metal part of the tailgate is smaller in size than a bumper, so complete with the smoothing etc it shouldn't be too costly. £250 for a bumper to be sprayed is ridiculous!
I know this has been covered a few times before, but I'm actually going to do it. Does anyone have a rough idea how much I'd be looking at to get the Clio badge holes welded/smoothed over and the full tailgate resprayed the same colour? Better still, has anyone actually had it done? I know I saw...
Sometimes at idle my car will rev up and down very slightly (at cold temperatures), and it was revving up when I pressed my clutch down before revving back down again, but this has sorted itself. The coolant level is fine. If I change the thermostat would this help? Or are there any ways to...
Would the thermostat cause the engine temperature indicator to be incorrect? Mine says it's up to temperature at idle, but when I boot it it seems to go down.

I'm with them, found their service excellent and the policy spot on. There's no way you'll reach 180bhp with basic mods (exhaust, remap etc.) in a Clio so you can mention that and they will take note.
