Yeah "System or Type A" hubcentric spacers use the longer bolts
"System or Type B" hubcentric spacers come with bolts and are bolted to the hub, then you use your standard nuts to put your wheel on as normal.
Type B are used for spacers from 15mm + if memory serves me right :)
Spotted an old disused petrol station on the way to a meet while in convoy at the start of the year.

Check your CV boots
- I had a tiny nick in one and it randomly threw grease around the sensor putting the lights on.
New outer o/s boot sorted it - lights never came back :)
Only a possibility though, could be other things
A lot easier to do in the shade if ou don't have a garage or some sort of cover as Pete says above :)
A few hours should give you enough time to give the whole car a good going over
