My cam belt's due this year, i'll be getting a full cam, aux belt & dephaser replacement,
if i'm spending money might as well go all in and get the lot done, i'd hate to spend money on a cam belt service
and have something else go wrong that I could have had done at the same time.
Ah right, so professional knowlege is needed to do a good job it would seem.
I don't suppose you have any idea how much a total wrap of a mk2 Clio would cost to Joe public?
I don't know which looks better, the toned down white or the grey it has now, they both look awesome!!!
Do you wrap stuff for a living or have you taught yourself in your spare time?
Looks nice.
I still miss my mk4 TDI, it was only 90ps but it was ultra reliable and comfortable,
the armrest was great on long journeys I still miss that, but not the weighty handling or under powered engine.
I just had a random thought about oil breathers.
I've had a V6 espace box fitted for nearly two years now,
aswell as an oil breather like this to replace the breather pipe that's in the shed.
I've had the same one fitted since I swapped the airbox over, every year I clean the air filter but...
Start with the easy bits like the bricks, I left the hardest bits like the guitar fret board and the faces untill last,
it's just endless amounts of clone and patch tool, over and over again.
Then about 8 hours of work later, you're done......and slightly insane from staring at it for so...
I'm still using a MK1 5D proffesionally as a freelancer. :o
That was just over a grand when it was new.
I work in another photographers studio atm so the daily is a Nikon D700,
I still haven't learnt what all the buttons and fuctions do. lol
Sounds like you've got your wife a MK2 phase 1 with the roundish head lights,
and you've got a body kit off a MK2 phase 2 with the diamond(ish) headlights,
if that's correct, the front end wont fit but the rest should.
Just for reference, this is a MK 3.
I saw white 197 with those stickers on it in Coventry once, I actually laughed out loud.
It wasn't that they looked bad in themselves, it just looked so out of place waiting at the lights with all the other normal cars around it,
he was getting alot of looks, but they were more 'WFT do you look...
Customer wanted this restored as best I could, I nearly cried when he dropped it off.
But I think I did alright in the end, it's not perfect and I could pick holes in it all day long,
but he was more than happy with it and I got paid, which is all that counts at the end of the day. :D
For well over a year i've had the spare sitting in the shed for weight saving,
mainly because I resented using petrol to lug it about and I liked how lite the car felt with no back seats & spare.
But the other week I went up to Lancaster for a family funeral so put it back in seeing as it was a...
If you have working opposable thumbs they're easy to fit.
All the info and pics you need are in here.

Keep it and store it at your Dads farm, it'd be a shame to throw away all that money you spent on it,
like you said it's something nice to come back to.
