I have a few and my favourite is probably this one - http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/washing-and-drying/wash-mitts-sponges/cquartz-wool-wash-mitt/prod_784.html
I have a thing about trying new mitts lol :o
Well picked this up about a week ago and have to say very impressed. Very underrated!
Anyone going to try and get all of the trophies/achievements? They all seem easy enough...
I have G1 on mine, it's a great product but as has been said, you do have to be travelling at some speed for it to work. Making G5 the better product imo, even if it isn't as durable.
But yes, glass sealants definitely are worth applying!
For a sealant I'd go with Zaino Z2.
Then Zaino Z6 as your quick detailer. There is also Z8, which is similar to Z6 in that it's a quick detailer, but it also adds some protection. Get both if you can!
The tyres that are on the car are budgets, yes, but they are also practically brand new. I wanted to know whether I would see a worthwhile difference in changing them or if I was better off keeping £300/400 for something else.
To be honest with you, I've only ever kept cars for a relatively...
Probably a stupid question, but does decent rubber REALLY make that much difference?
The reason I'm asking is because when I bought my car, the garage fitted 4 new tyres, however as to be expected really they are all budget tyres. Autoguard SA802's to be exact.
The car really doesn't inspire...
As said, it's called snow foam, it's a pre-wash to remove/loosen dirt before you wash the car by hand. By using a pre-wash you are reducing the risk of damage being inflicted during the wash process. Not only will you need a pressure washer, but also a foam lance which generally cost between...
Usually caused by the polish not being broken down properly before it's removed.
Must admit I could only see what looks like a buffer trail/hologramming on the 8th photo down over the rear arch. Could just be the lighting as has been said though.
The Trophy linked in the OP has been for sale for some time IIRC. Not sure if it's changed hands a couple of times in that time tho!
They're auctioning it off now...
Sorry should of made it clearer. I was just wondering how long I should leave it before applying a second layer of Carbon? Is it possible to do it in the same day or should I leave it for 24 hours or so?
I'm not overly impressed with Crystal tbh, if there are any watermarks on my windows it really struggles to remove them. Otherwise, the other products by AF I've used have been great.
I have the megs tyre dressing applicator, it absorbs that much product that I can usually do all four wheels without using any from the bottle. Applying only a very small amount is key!
I don't get where everyone is coming from with CYC delivery times - I've used them loads of times and not had a single problem. Delivery has always been within the time stated.
Further to discussion earlier re. Brinkmann 'sun gun'. Having used it today, really not impressed!
Do not recommend anyone getting one at all. For the same price you can get some 500w flood lights.
I got it through eBay at £20, or thereabouts. It was from somebody with a spare (still in blister packaging). Obviously if it does break then I have no warranty as such, so going off what has been said about their reliability it might be worth paying a bit more to get some kind of guarantee.
