Took a trip down to see Yoz today and get my exhaust sorted. Some might have seen the cable tied mess that it was before, and this is how it sounds now:

Very pleased, love the sound. Quality is spot on too. I'll get some pictures up over...
Exhaust has all but fallen off.
Exhaust heatshield rattles.
Exhaust mounts need changing.
Needs 4 tyres.
MOT next month.
Lots of stone chips.
Radio display needs a whack to make it the same brightness as the clock.
It rattles all over.
Door pull has gone mouldy from getting wet.
Handbrake needs...
Lowered mine yesterday, was a pig to loosen them!
Ground 2 flats onto a socket to get a spanner on and then an allen key through the middle. Was tight:
Well, Sportlines fitted and standard wheels back on.
Strut top was an utter pig to loosen, had to put a couple of flats onto my socket to get a spanner on and it fooked my old faithful set of allen keys, nice!
In operation:
Done, better?
Rover metallic charcoal at the moment, but theyre looking a bit tired. If I decide to keep them on, or put them on again at a later date, I'd probably refurb them in a lighter colour. Still a bit darker than the standard FF wheels though I think.
Need to find time to get sportlines on! Not...
Very nice that!
Get yourself along to the next Lincoln meet, usually the last wednesday of the month. PM 'Daz Clio Cup' and get him to add you to the PM list :)
Are you up bracebridge way? Think I might have seen the car once before
Aye I agree it does look a bit plop on small wheels and not lowered. Coilovers and the chrono's would look way better I think. Not sure if my sportlines will make enough of a difference.
Will get the standard wheels back on at some point I think, and get saving for tyres :(
Just giving them a chance for a few days to see what I think. Tyre's being rediculously cheap is a big plus for them. Prefer my FF wheels if I'm honest, but think this looks OK. I have some sportlines that I'll put on at some point which will help it sit better with the 15's on.
Thoughts...
Yay or nay? Giving them a go for a few days to see what I think. Have some sportlines waiting to go on when I get chance, but otherwise standard cup packed 182:
Machine will basically vacuum the system for about 20 minutes or so and then refill by a set amount. As said the dye is to check for leaks under UV light.
Free kit at work :approve:
