    Advice Please!

Looks fine to me but check the usual, VIN with V5, condition and age of tyres, brakes, fluids, last service/oil change and as above proof of cambelt service. Usually you can get a sense if it's genuine from the owner as long as your a good judge of character, and then the test drive, make...

    Yakuza accord waggon

I don't know why but the wheels remind me of washing machine drums.

    Deutschfest BBQ

That blokes front bumper was a bit flimsy, I can't believe a paper cup bent it that much.

    Why oh why ...

Not keen on Range Rovers to begin with, but that looks like a cheap Corgi or Matchbox toy car.

    The PH1 172 Appreciation Thread.

I can't beleive i've only just seen this thread, i've just gone through all 27 pages and i'm now so jealous! I feel like the poor cousin now with my ph2 ff, when I first got my 172 I didn't like the ph1 but they've so grown on me over the years, if anything happens to my car it's a ph1 for me...

    :-( what to do

If it's taxed then yeah maybe it'll be alright, but what happens when it's on axel stands with alot of it missing? Even if the council don't move it you've still got neighbours that might get the arse with it.

if you had to sell your clio tomorrow......

I'd buy something from the sheds section on PH for £500 with tax and MOT, then clear my credit card and save the rest. (boring I know) But I do miss parking a car anywhere I feel like and not worrying about it getting dented or keyed, then when I had a bit more money, i'd still keep the shed...

    :-( what to do

Ooft, you've done a good job of killing that.:( Depends who owns that car park, if it's council owned then I would guess it's still classed as a public highway. I would imagine by off the road they mean private property like a driveway. I have a feeling that if you tried to break it there, a...

Don't know if this is a repost from years ago, but it was on the PH site, and I thought it was worth sharing.

    brake air ducts

I've not done it myself but, everything i've learned about Clios was from here, just type 'Brake Ducts' or 'Brake Cooling' into the search bar at the top and there's loads of threads about it. That's what I do when ever i'm curious about different things, it just saves waiting for people to...

    indution kit

You can add a 90 degree silicon hose with an oil breather to the standard box and ditch the acoustic valve, then you've got the best airflow possible out of the stock setup.

    indution kit

K-Tec/Piper X filter in standard airbox, everything else is a waste of money, and thats coming from a man that has the JMS V6 setup.

    Cam belt change frequency

Every 50-70k miles or every 5 years, which ever comes sooner. The belt will age over time regardless of miles, I tend to air on the side of caution.

    Oiling air filter

It will be pre oiled, squeeze the foam between your fingers and you'll feel the oil on the surface of your skin. Oiled filters are meant to feel tacky not mega greasy, I had the same concern when I got one but too much oil will restrict the air flow and coat your throttle body in crap. I had...

I only look at the front bumper, if it's not a RS I ignore it. I guess i'm a 1*2 snob.
