After changing the coil pack (albeit for a second hand one) and the spark plugs, this solved the spluttering/misfiring problems with my car for quiet a while. The other week, I changed the oil but couldn't get the filter off (rusted to feck) so had to just put new oil in with the filter left as...

Tax will stay the same btw, no matter what engine you put in. 1.6 won't be epic btw, it'll be faster but I'd personally get a 2.0 dropped in rather than regretting it later!
