Probably own it and some sort of money laundering / tax avoidance scheme going on.
I was down in London a few years ago and saw a stunning 458 (iirc) parked up inside a unit owned by a taxi firm and a lot of "ethnic minorities" inside.
With good prep, decent rattle can paint, 2k lacquer and a wet sand, you can get a pretty damn good finish from a rattle can. But the 2K lacquer is absolutely key.
Heading back to the Nurburgring next month, so time to get this thing out of hibernation. Hasn't moved from my parent's garage since January 2024.
Looking a little sorry for itself at my mate's work, before it goes off for some servicing and track prep.
I'm on the lookout for some track...
Yeah i've seen a purple one in Calgary, probably the same.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say the one I saw out skiing didn't look so bad with the offroad tyres & spacers. Definitely more purposeful rather than a stupid gimmick.
Okay thanks. My used PS3's were dead after a few laps on my last visit so want to avoid that happening again. Hence now looking for semi-slicks with a good lifespan. AR1s are about £100 more for a set, probably worth it if they won't degrade as quickly

They are on the R still, I think?
Read on the forums that you get very used to them very quickly anyway.
It’s the awful Tesla Ali Express screen that I hate. I remember hearing why Bugatti doesn’t have any screens in their million pound hypercars, because technology ages. In a few years those...
Nice write up and lovely car mate. The 8.5 looks awesome from the front, super aggressive. Also that interior looks like such a nice place to be. The lit up GTI logo from the door handles is a little Ali Express though!
That is so sick, where ?
Edit: just scrolled up. The white cliffs almost looked like ice so I thought super far north like maybe iceland or Norway! Still great shots man.
I have no clutch related concerns so don’t think it could be thrust bearing related, if that’s what you mean? And I don’t have a bypass, didn't know they existed!
So it’s not a Clio, but hardly anyone on here owns Clio’s anymore and there’s some pretty clued up people so I thought I’d ask. I have this clunk/knock coming from my Golf which occurs when I let off the accelerator at low speeds. With or without engaging the clutch. I’ve read on the forums that...
