Just took my car in for its 12,000 mile service today down at the yocal Renault Dealer Chimps. They still insist that my car isnt due for its first service until 18,000. Doh! But they kindly said that they will do a 1st service for me anyway if I insisted on it!!
WTF.
Now this is something id be interested in fitting. Just so Im sure its up to temp before ragging it. Usually give it 10 minutes under 3,000 rpm.
Anyone know whats involded with fitting one?

I like the extras that the 172 Mk2 comes with. But the only reason I have them is because they come as standard. Otherwise I could quite easily live without them! I definitely wouldnt spec...

Hmmm. Not so sure myself. The Mk II front end doesnt seem to look right with those huge wings. Looks a bit boz-eyed.
Think I prefer the Mk1. Might grow on me though.

Hmmmm might blag 2 hours off work on Friday and get myself in there.
Got the proxes fitted last week. Grip levels are much higher after having them changed. My rear Contis were nearly slick as I swapped them front to back b4 the last Bedford track day!! Not realy pushed them hard yet though...
