Why would you do that when his work is so good and well priced though? Buy second hand shitty wheel - £20, have it sent directly to Snappy. £150 all in later or so and you've got a job better than OEM. Sell old wheel for £20. Job done.

If reverse is ok then it suggests the linkage would be ok.

Does it slot in if you select 2nd, then go into 1st? Can you get reverse? I'd be checking the linkage TBH.

Depends on the application. If it's a cheap track car, it's not needed. If you're doing it properly, then it becomes the weak point at some stage of the progress. I wouldn't. because i'm cheap and you can still have fun in a Clio without one.

Yeah, give the guy a fiver and ask him to loosen and just nip it up. Less than 30 seconds work for them

C Cordless buzz gun required. Or get the car back on the ground, take it somewhere with air tools and have them loosen them up for you, then go back and undo it.
