    There's another mount, called the lower gearbox mount. It bolts to the subframe and the front of the gearbox.

    It can't be lowered on standard springs. If you're on a budget, get a second hand set of Eibach Sportlines. Perfect mix of better handling and slight lowering (25-30mm).

    Nope, Ph1 172 and 172 cup boxes will fit on a Ph2 172 or 182 and work fine. I'm sure of it.

    Even a remap's a waste. Save for a 172, imo. Or if you love your car that much, a 172 engine can be had for peanuts..
