Well it has been said on here, that the MK2 isnt a great deal better than the MK1, so maybe the owner was a little disheartened?

Most V6s are well looked after "on the outside" Keep a few quid by for wear and tear items.

2002? Must be quite an early one. I would look for tyres, brakes, and full service history. Maybe also check for paint overspray etc. I havent heard of any real problems with the 255.
