Saw a Clio phase 2 (valver shape) today. It had an oval brake light built into the tailgate just above the number plate.
Just curious as to which model this was.
Thanks
PS. It wasnt sporty in any way.
" Im keen to be different and willing to listen to ALL ideas, however outlandish you feel they are....i like different....."
A nearby chalet/caravan to stay in for those coming from miles away. Just a kettle and a bed would do.
You said however outlandish. Sorry if my idea is too weird...
Probably only going by what we are told by bodyshops and other official sources.
"In 1999, Renaults Douai plant started using water-based paints for its vehicles. This technology considerably reduces airborne pollutant emissions."
CzoneClio your car looks gash IMO. It is however gash enough to be recognised and awarded a feature, so you have to be applauded for your hard effort.
Cant for the life of me think what what bearing this has with your choice of girlfriend? I had a big fat Clio V6 and my Mrs is 6.5 stone lol...
For me it was its looks, although the attention it got was a bit annoying ( when your an old git ), and that different feeling of being pushed along instead of being pulled along. ( does that sound weird? )
I think they are a little more up market looking than the usual aftermarket offerings. No matter how expensive addon alloys are they still seem to cheapen the car and turn it into the typical street boyracer sect somehow.
Just my opinion of course.
I have a bottle of Zymol "Auto Polish" its a pale blue colour and smells like coconut. I used it once but the smell made me heave, and it didnt do anything spectacular. It says "Especially developed for todays water based paint finishes"
Maybe the old fashion polishes do a better job on old...

Would someone who has only been driving for 2 months instantly notice the difference in handling between these suspension set ups?
It might be a case of what you dont know, you dont miss?
Just an idea to see if you can drive both and see for yourself.

Quite a few years ago I set up a parts department for a new Reanult dealer. I was given a Williams as a runabout until the job was done.
What a load of rubbish I thought.
Years later and after a few Saxos :( I was looking round for something that was still small and nippy. Having swore I...
