JJ172. They called it their "Performance model" I got used to the NOISE so much that I thought the V6 was a wee kitten when I got it. Long constant droaning at crusing speeds where annoying but zapping around made up for it. They did say that at anytime they would get the noise level to suit...

I accept that the "real" figures may be a wee bit of a fib? But what would the 172 bhp be, had they tested it at 6000 rpm instead of reving the nuts of it @6413 ?

Just looked at the Superchips London site. The power curve chart http://www.superchips.co.uk/curves/cliosport.pdfhttp://www.superchips.co.uk/curves/cliosport.pdf for the 172 says 174bhp @ 6413rpm before its chipped? So it was a Clio 174? The V6 chart says 215bhp @ 6125rpm...

Scudetto I think your doing the right thing so a trip to Reno may be in order.

I didnt get any reception at all from the one I bought and it was £25 so not a cheapest model. If anyone can recommend a better one please reply.

I saw it tonight for the first time in months and Wow! hasnt it changed a lot. Still Mr (I dont know how to dress) Clarkson, but the format I felt was much more like a chat show. Beats the usual jumping ( or squeezing ) in and out of big fast unaffordable supercars all night.

3.0L (2954cc) inline 6 cylinder engine 24 valve, twin overhead cam 230 HP (200HP in non-turbo Supras) 0-60 mph in 6.4 sec If the above is your Toyota, then I can see you may well have had some fun. But I hope you werent speeding;)
