dont know what theyre there for, but its usually a good way of telling that the bumper has been painted or not. as for replacing them, why not just get a cheap small sheet of vinyl and cut it yourself and make them?! im sure you could get them from renault but theyll probs cost £32+VAT knowing...

you can get a pair of legal uk plates of ebay for under £10! theyre have the codes on them, but very small.

i did the above with just a cheap halfords universal exhaust hanger, worked pretty well!! but now that the mot station have pointed it out, they might try and insist you get a proper replacement! :(

couldnt comment, sorry. looking at the suspension layout of the mk3 i doubt mk2 ones could be made to fit, sorry if i got hopes up there! but im sure there will be a line of budget coilovers out there for the mk3s!

coilovers, springs barely get you a noticable drop!! do some research, theres a high chance renault didnt change the hubs from the old mk2s in which case youll be able to pick coilovers up pretty cheap!!
