I listed a 197 manifold on eBay (it has the pre-cat in it). I got a message from a scrap dealer asking if it's available and it made me remember that there was a thread on here. I had it listed for £50, but could I possibly retire on it instead?
Oh you absolutely could. It's not unusual in the car business at all; either for businesses to do shoddy work and try to worm their way out of it, or for people to try and take the law into their own hands. While screwing over your customers is unacceptable, I'm not sure that racing to Leicester...
I made the mistake of watching a couple of the ones where he has been arguing with a bloke about some work that got fucked up on a van. It feels like only part of the story is being told there. Also, he keeps going on about what a decent man he is, but is basically harassing the bloke and his...
Just go and test drive it, then say you don't want it. Basically the same as buying it and immediately selling it again, which is what you're bound to do anyway lol
Yeah I thought that too. They're so blatant in what they're doing, it's almost embarrassing. It makes you worry for the decent people out there that are doing good content. It would be a shame if they were tarred with the same brush because of these clowns.
Who on earth is that bloke? What a monumental prick. Only managed a few minutes of it. Spunking a load of money on an E63 and a remap, then bragging that it's the fastest thing in the world is beyond tragic. What a strange man.
Perfect choice. The black goes well with the black details on the body. None of the standard wheels are that great I don't think, so something like this really is an improvement.
I think some Americans pronounce it "Imprezza", but the British way is "Impre-za". Who knows if there is a right and wrong. Have to ask a Japanese person.
Good video though, of a lovely car. I always preferred the 4-door RA to the Type-R, but still a lovely thing and must be super rare in that...
That's a really lovely story! Always got the impression that Murray was a decent bloke, but that was really good of him and the dealer. The F1 remains the ultimate car to me. Others have gone faster, but I don't think they will ever come close to the McLaren.
If you haven't listened to the...
As an every day car, probably not, because I would probably go all-out and have it stripped out inside too. But, as a toy/weekend car, I wouldn't have a problem with it at all. If people judge me based on the car I drive, that's their problem, not mine.
That looks pretty good! It's hard to get a BTCC rep right because the real thing is so low, but that doesn't look too bad apart from the exhaust.
I did see a rep of a recent Focus BTCC car at Autosport earlier this year but, as above, it's not very common these days.
Mine is on Cooksport springs, so probably not quite as low as H&Rs. Not much in it though.
No spacers either, as the R3 wheels are ET41, so probably in the same ballpark as running 20mm spacers I guess.
It does transform it though. They look a touch too high and narrow as standard, but I love...
Yeah wind deflectors instantly ruin anything. I don't mind these shape Polos, though think I would just buy a Golf if I wanted a VW or, if I wanted a car that size, a Fiesta ST would probably poop on one of these from a great height.
