Had a knocking noise for a while and after the balljoints didnt cure it I set about changing the bearings in the top mounts.
Thankfully I'd bought a pair of bearings in preparation of this job as this is what I found.
They were brand new skf bearings just over a year ago and...
My car is pretty low on b14's, running 2118s and I only scrub slightly on the arch liner on very tight corners when gunning it. No issues on touching the bracket at all.
Not been on track to say it wouldn't be worse, but it's been fine for way over a year on the roads.
You plugged the car in at all? Any codes?
Be interesting to graph the lambda and see what that's doing. Aren't coolant sensors known to reduce BHP too as it's not properly coming off the cold map?
