Ask the dealer if it has the latest key. All new ones are supplied with motion sensitive keys that go to sleep after 40 seconds, so can't be got by those signal relay boxes. If it didn't have it from the factory, you can still upgrade to the motion sensitive key on the MK8.

Cleaning things was only ever likely to be a temporary fix in reality. I've rarely known if it working for any length of time. I did see a one owner, J-plate 240 for sale local to me.

Tail happy is often knackered rear dampers in my experience.

Mine is -3 if I recall correctly. Works fine. That's an AP master on the pedal box, and the standard slave in the box.

I love an RS Turbo. The Clio is definitely better by every objective, but the RS is still a deeply cool car.
