oh dear,
you replaced speedline wheels, with wolfrace?! are your parent brother and sister??
loose the stripe, flaps are far to big and look gash,
looks to me like youve taken a lovely car that renault spent godknows how much designing,
and turned it into a typical chav motor!! no doubt...
they will have been painted dude,
just painted well,
the renault badge can pop off the centre cap, so just take it off, and take your time doing it and make a good job!
I had 17s,
they make the car sit far too high off the floor,
also they swamp the breaks making them look tiny!! not a good look
as for the choice on wheels, you're defs onto a loser on this site,
cliosport isnt into larey wheels, more subtle wheels ftw!!
personally id keep an eye on the for...
that doesnt look too bad, go for something like that,
lower it right to the floor,
get some nice wheels,
try and get some euro/rat look mods on it!!
thats the best route to go down imo on a non-sport!
since getting my car, the steering and suspension just hasnt felt quite right,
ive been replacing/upgrading parts in the hope that it will cure it,
so far!
new top mounts,
new ball jounts,
new drop links
new (powerflex) wishbone bushes
New shock absorbers,
its has got progressively better...
i think i may well be hanging the driving gloves up for the winter,
i cant be dealing with the ball ache of fixing my car in this weather,
it already urgently needs a wheel bearing, and its dark by the time i get home so :(
i had a set on my non-sport.
for the money theyre fantastic!!
but its still cheap suspension!
you can lower right to the floor, so for stance, theyre fantastic,
performance wise theyre not amazing, but much better than just springs!!
if youve got the money, go for it,
i was so pleased with...
well even though you dont want to turn it into a rep,
when you replace the bonnet, you might as well get a valver one,
when you replace the bumpers..............
when you replace the wheels...............................you see where im going with this!
personally, (and i dont mean this as a...
before you start asking for suggestions..
what look are you actually going for?????!!?!?!!
seeing as all of my (and 99% of the other users on this forums) suggestions would revolve around getting it back towards valver/williams replica!!
did you get any standard parts with the car??
and...
either way surely youll get a better job painting the cage outside of the car?? then just put it back in after?
is your cage a full cage or just a half cage??
dodgy wiring?
bad bulb?
corroded connector?
could be anything really, but id start with the above,
maybe get a multimeter involved to check the voltages
but yes, the correct lights are showing in the pics included!
i want to do the inside of mine,
poss wait until the summer
i was just going to get all of the sound proofing off,
key the metal up abit,
and use white primer, then gloss white,
then laquer!
i think the masking up is going to be the biggest ball ache!
seats out, cage out,
mask up all the...
sorry people,
i did a noshow on this one,
if anyone even want along that is,
wheel bearing is completely fubared so shes off the road until thats fixed :(
what did you really expect posting such pictures??
if you dont want peoples opinions on your car, dont post it on a public forum!
and cliosport is not against everything thats not a sport, there are some fantastic non-sports on here.
the critisim may help guide you to doing the right thing...
oh dear
i wouldn't have that if you paid me £400,
the amount money and work to get that right kinda nulifies the deal you got purchasing it!
so imo, you fail
the wheels may stick out of the arches due to the wider track of the sports,
also, there are clips under the side skirts that are rivetted to the shell that would need to be drilled off and filled.
it would be quite a bit of work, but would be a giggle.
twin exit back box??
very chavtastic imo, but as long as you like it, thats all that matters,
how much did you pay for the locking wheel nuts btw??
ive got an identical set in the garage i might sling up for sale lol!
5 minute job changing the springs,
but personally id leave it to the weekend,
do i unbolt my cage to remove the last bit of carpet?? hmm
need to go into the garage to get some bits out anyways so might as well give it a go :D
