I was back in Winnipeg last week and saw a yellow Evo V parked outside someone's house, reminded me of this thread. It had a dent in the dour unfortunately, but looked ok otherwise.
Been looking at the price of property out there, really does make you think.

I have a lot of time for the Saxo VTS, I think they're awesome. The trouble would be finding a good one I think. It would be much easier to find a good Clio than to find a good VTS, so that would sway me I think.
As for the MX-5....they're mobile chicanes, so no thanks. I have never come across...
I'd really like one of these. Used to have an 850 T-5 that had all the R bits on. Mine was an auto but would definitely have a manual next time.

My 172 has them currently (came on some wheels I bought) and I genuinely hate them. Don't seem that good in the dry and pretty bloody frightening in the winter.
I get it. Go for it. Brave for wanting to put up with something so hardcore every day, but fair play. It will do your head in half the time, but rock your world the rest of it. Saving money over the M5 and zero depreciation to boot.
