When I'm driving in really wet weather, the rain seems to puddle right in the edge of the door window and I can't see anything out of my wingmirrors as it just splatter backwards. Happens both sides. Common? Does it on my 1.2.
Atleast get some lightweight doorcards to finish it off if youre going to strip the doors down... If anything now you've just got a slow car that has loud road noise rather than just a slow car.
I don't think the intention was to 'lie' to you about what cars were on offer at the minute on the forum in order to make you become a member... @imprezaworks was just making a sweeping statement about the quality of cars on the forum tending to be higher than those sold elsewhere. The good ones...
There's a couple of 172's up near holmfirth, then i've seen a black 182, silver 182, and an inferno 182. Saw a nice red 197 the other day going onto trinity street just at the bottom of my road
A little bullshit does go quite a way in an advert. Aslong as it's lined with truths, it'll get people interested enough to view the car. If it's had a respray don't write about it like it's a negative!
You need to get that username changed. And quiet isn't always bad, noise when you put your foot down is what matters. Get a decent induction kit on and it makes the world of difference.
Frustratingly I went out to my car this morning, and it seems water has got underneath the sunstrip. It basically came unstuck on one side, so i've trimmed it down further and re-carded it to remove all bubbles. Will see if it holds! There's loads of areas underneath where light is coming...
Just been out to my sunstrip and its bubbled up a little on the passenger side, and is basically not even stuck down on that side. Fab. Was perfect a week ago!
Did you have any problems refitting your windscreen trims? I did mine this way but it was a ballache refitting the top one! Probably didn't help i had no rubber mallet to hand.
Do really like the carbon splitters, it'd be my luck a rabbit would run out a day after fitting it though! I personally prefer the washer blanks painted.
Depends if it's pullable or not. Still probably a respray and RB can be a fun match! I'd agree with @BGEarles and only take it for under a grand even with the RB tax.
A few updates.
Got a connects2 system installed and all the functions of the satnav still work. Result! I don't think I am going to continue with the AUX/USB flush fit as I havn't been able to get it working to allow me to continue using the stalk controls. I might have another go at a later...
