HAve they ever been replaced? Shocks are generally crap after 5 years or so anyways ive found. New ones will give the car a much better feel. Technically you should get some uprated shocks. But id probs just get new standard items! lol Or try someone cheap like Gmax or Koni

17s go on valvers no probs at all with a healthy drop! as for mk2 172 wheels, yeah they look mint but as said are the wrong offset. You can sort this with spacers though
