Well i kept with a mk1 172 in my valver which is only lighly tuned. God knows what kinda power it puts out. I was told by peps that it was possible too as the gearing is crap on the mk1.

id say the valver If its a Mk1 172 the valver will have no probs.

Yeah but a Valver to a Willy engine isnt that much difference really. Also a valver can take the power with proper brakes ect. Still they shouldnt do it! A corsa with a 2.0 is a big difference as the biggest engined one they did was a 1.6 16v. Also they have sh*t brakes ect

What kinda maintainance is needed to keep a R5 sweet? Obviously you cant just go playing with boost...

Much much worse! It means you can drive it like a 1.0l if you want but you have to rev the f**k out of them to make them go quick! They start playing at 5k revs or something like that.

Mate ive never even seen one in the flesh let alone race one! lol Seen pics though and i know they are quick. The 200 bhp one is the special edition though. Normal VZRs are 170 odd im pretty sure.

Its a ZX with the same as the GTi-6 engine in.

Mike just buy it! Once you have it sell your valver and put the money back into the card. Simple! and you get the car you actually want! id do it
