If you get something to plug the SSD into the MacBook externally then you can make a backup before putting it inside. They make it much easier than windows.
I put 16gb of crucial RAM in my old MacBook because at the time they were cheapest. It also had a Samsung SSD.
Used it for 5 years with no issues before selling last year.
I played a game of plunder last night with some random northerners who were chatting the whole game. They kept moaning about how I wasn’t near them, until they noticed when I did get to them I had just shy of 700k and everyone was chasing me 🤣

Have you tried Mintex 1155?
They squeal when you’re braking lightly, but just seem to get better as you lean on them.
The dust they kick out doesn’t seem to do any damage to wheels either.
I replaced the same side on mine last year with one from KTEC and I’m pretty sure the only difference will be the abs ring mate.
I was like you and done a lot of reading up. The 172 cup and phase 1 shafts are physically different, but the only difference in the rest are the rings.
My first was an XR2i, I don’t think I actually have any pictures of it as it had an unfortunate meeting with a tree about a month later 🤣.

It was taking ages to find a game on multiplayer last night.
It’s a piss take that the game you have to pay for is now broken yet the free one is working.
It could possibly be something to do with the mobile network, they might stop tethering when it’s a large amount of data.
Like some do with phone calls cutting off after a certain amount of time.
