Other than the gearbox it looks like you’ve got yourself a tidy motor there, colours alright too ;) The ABS rings have a tendency to snap due to old age on these, that usually triggers the abs at low speeds.

What paint did you use?

At least he’s honest about it being cheap because he lost in trent in the car and dint want to keep spending on it.

Had new genuine inner tie rods and track rod ends fitted whilst it was in for it’s MOT. Annoyingly they failed it on the cat being missing, before fitting it as they’d been asked...

That 172 is a proper time warp job. Looks cleaner than when they were new.

Might be worth checking them to see if they both still compress evenly/smoothly. A tired rear shock could be the cause. When the brakes were looked at I take it both fronts and rears were checked?

How old are the rear shocks?

You’ll need a boss to fit any aftermarket wheel.

Tbh for a steering wheel and boss you’ll be looking at circa £150 unless you find one second hand. OMP Trecento is a popular wheel, and one of the cheapest. Most people use the Momo boss as it doesn’t throw up lights on the dash because of the steering angle sensor, depends whether you need an...

As mossy said, unless they’ve butchered the wiring you should be able to put some resistors in. The service light could mean the steering angle sensor is out of position too.

That could literally be from anywhere, the undertray will need taking off to find where the leak is coming from.

There was a video on here somewhere of a non-res milltek with decat, sounded nuts. Mines got a resonated milltek with decat and it’s pretty loud inside so god knows what it’s like non-res.
