Some for sale in Wigan if thats a bit more handy , only £20 for a full set . Might even be worth a cheeky offer of £15 ;) http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=492123

    brakes not there usual

It's highly unlikely you've got a split hose , it wouldn't take very long at all to empty the brake system of fluid , then you would know about it . Bleed your brakes , a dose of new fluid should sort it .

    back to black?

There ya go then . Cheap as chips , just rub the wd40 into the plastic as they usually have some sort of textured finish then buff off any excess , job done . Back to black and water repellent . Plus it does a whole host of other things !! :)

    back to black?

That wasn't really what the OP was asking .:rasp:

    back to black?

All these back to black products only mask white marks or bring fading plastic back to the original black colour and none of them last very long either . WD40 is the best i've found to date .

    Milltek v Yozza

Not with the standard Cat it isn't , with the decat it's very loud but still bearable . Maybe yours is blowin' :quiet:
  7. MRBILLYUK

    Milltek v Yozza

Yozza with original Cat isn't loud at all , slightly louder than the original exhaust , with the Decat its pretty loud but not unbearable . Quality of the Yozza is top notch .

Never knew tyres could make such a difference!

+1 . Toyos are s**te in the wet . Most tyres will do a decentish enough job if you dont want to push on too hard job in the dry , even budget ones . It's wet handling and braking were it really matters . We don't exactly live in a country where we have long hot dry summer do we ;) You...

    Powdercoating?

Like JCC says . Any decent powder coater will sort out any damage . Ring the powder coaters and ask them if they require any sort of prep work , which i doubt very much . Don't bother filling , sanding .... yourself , let the experts do their job .You might actually end up causing them more...

Magnex 182 exhaust, you rate it?

My link works for me ;) Magnex did go into administration about 2 years ago , looks like they've started up again . I'd go for the yozza exhaust myself , the build quality is second to none . I'm more than happy with mine , not too loud with the standard cat , loud when decatted .

Magnex 182 exhaust, you rate it?

Your link doesn't work , try this one : http://www.magnexexhausts.com/renault-clio-renaultsport-cat-back-system.html Not one favoured by people on here . I did hear that they weighed hell of alot and people had problems with the baffles in the back boxes rattling .

Re: Best Internet Deals for Unlimited Internet. How good is BT, Sky and Virgin Media Been with Virgin about 7 years , 20mb is spot on , usually get around 19mb so i'm happy . In all that time i've only ever had it go down a handful of times .

    Standard Cat on yozza?

It's hell of alot louder with the de cat on , i'm running mine with the Cat on at the minute due to MOT and to be honest i've not noticed any difference performance wise . Maybe the Decat does free up a bit more bhp but nothing you'll ever notice when your driving it . I think people get carried...

    Alcantara, plastics etc

WD40 lasts alot longer than any other product i've tried , and certainly lasts more than a day . I wouldn't waste my money ever again on any back to black / restorer type product when all they do is mask any white marks or fading . WD40 is the best i've tried and i've tried hell of alot and...

    Alcantara, plastics etc

WD40 on your black plastic bits , better than any back to black type product , on a cloth and rub it in . Job done !!

    Adrian Flux question

Tbh , i only ever ring them back with a good lower quote when i've exhausted all avenues . They will only usually beat a quote once from my experience , they wont keep doing it . Its never failed for me and i paid £200 less than the renewal they sent me and less than the previous years premium ...

    Adrian Flux question

Don't know how people can say Flux are crap . I've been with them for years , probably 8 or 9 years . I'm too lazy to search for your post " white16valver " ;) Maybe you and yellowbelly have both had bad experiences with them ? I'm sure they're not the first and wont be the last insurance...

    Brembo HC Max grooved discs

Like you say , not all are silver , but most are , or silverish if they have a zinc coating like EBC's. It's a little bit gimmicky if you ask me though putting a coating on the disc as like i said before , most of it wears off except for a tiny bit where the pad doesn't touch the disc .

    Brembo HC Max grooved discs

These aren't actually being sold as Brembo Max discs , rather as KTR's own exclusive black disc , although i suspect they are Brembo MAX's . Brembo HC discs are a different disc altogether , so there seems to be a bit of confusion from the OP's title ...
