Never bought any matched colour from Halfords myself , but personally i'd steer clear from what i've read about their colour matching .
I go to a local motor factors whos colour matching has always been spot on , cheaper than Halfords and larger size aerosols :
I'd be more inclined to think it was a sticking brake caliper rather than your reworked inlet manifold imo .
I had a sticking brake caliper on my 172 , failed my MOT due to it . Just greased the piston and everything was fine and it passed the MOT retest :)
Renault don't make the paint , they have it made for them .
It's still available :Mondial Blue D43
Aerosol 77 11 219 313 , touch up stick is 77 11 219 314

I have a Yozzasport decat fitted , coupled up with the Yozzasport 182 exhaust . It's pretty loud lol . Top welds though ( eh Fred ) hopefully won't crack like the Millteks seem to do :approve:
No need at all to wet n dry the colour coat unless there are some imperfections . Colour coats , leave to dry 24 hours somewhere warm then a few coats of lacquer , job done .
If you do get any runs in the lacquer then wet n dry and polish up afterwards with some Meguiars scratch X or Carlack...
What version are you using Mark ? I'm using version 8.0.233 .
I've not had that problem but i do find it takes forever doing a scan and sometimes does a random scan when it's not scheduled .
Personally i think 6.5k is about right , even for a non cup packed 182 . There are lots of 182 cups on autotrader going for alot more , baring in mind they don't have xenons and have sh!t seats :dead: . I'd rather go for a non cup packed 182 and maybe sort some aftermarket suspension out if i...
I don't think it was a silly test at all , if anything it was probably one of their better tests .
It was a test to show how the R26R fares against what is basically a track orientated car , the Caterham . Yeah i know the 26R is marketed as more of a track / road car , but in reality and imo...
Yeah , they will fit . You need bulbs with the offset pins .
I can't vouch for the quality of these bulbs , it was just an example , i have Philips silvervisions but alot of people seem to be happy with the cheaper bulbs .
When i changed my side repeaters for the smoked ones i changed the bulbs for the chrome ones at the same time so i can't say how they look with the orange bulbs .
You can still see them flashing with the chrome bulbs and smoked side repeaters .
My smoked side repeaters from...
Put some tape on the wing , duck tape , packaging tape etc.... so you won't mark the paintwork . Use a small flat blade screwdriver to prise the side repeater out . You'll definitely still be able to see it flashing .
Get some chrome / amber bulbs ...
You can't get it from Renault .
It's Ixell 205 110 . You can't buy in in aersols but you might be able to get it direct from the suppliers to Renault here :

Or you can get it from http://auto-paint.co.uk
Wow . We managed to get to post # 12 before we went off topic :approve:
Personally , having owned a FF 172 and a FF 182 i'd go for the FF 182 if your budget allows .
They are basically the same car , same performance .... just with a few minor cosmetic changes to the 182 .
Where the...
