Not a fan of the Jimny however I have spotted a couple of new Defenders & I disagree. I think they look much better in the metal.
Just waiting to see one in a spec I would go for (green, white roof + white steels) instead of full on Chelsea tractor spec.

I can’t see any reason why nice well looked after examples of 172 / 182 aren’t going to increase in value over the next 5 years.
Ph2 172 currently 1.5k = 3-5k
Ph1 172 currently 2k = 4-6k
182 - currently 3k = 5-7k (excluding RB & LY tax)
Ph2 172 cup - currently 5k = 7-10k
182...
Agreed Racing Blue is the ultimate 182 colour, closely followed by petrol blue.
Alien Green is the only colour I would consider for a Clio200.
Acid Yellow will always be the ultimate RS Clio colour though
If I had the money I would quite happily spunk 50k to get back into Acid ownership...
I see no reason why a nice low mileage trophy won’t be worth 12-15k in a few years.
There has been plenty of positive press recently which can only help.
There will always be more than 500 people who think 15k is pocket change & if they want the best hot hatch experience then the trophy is...
New Suzuki jimny has just gone off sale & they are still selling for more than retail.
You could have put 12k miles on one in the last 12months & sold it for what u paid.
They will be one to keep an eye on in the future once the initial buzz has faded.
Anything limited run, quirky & fun will...
I didn’t buy mine as an investment but knowing that I was putting my money is in a pretty safe place.
I’m sure if I limit the mileage to 5k per year I’ll be able to sell it for what I paid.
Having said that I will have spent the best part of 1k in 12 months sorting various bits.
Mine on 46k...
Love the new Defender!
Green, explorer pack & white steel wheels.
Just a shame the spec I want would set me back 62k

Love them! Definitely on the shortlist for next car (if I can afford one [emoji23])
Definitely the colour to have one in, quite like the red top thinking about it. There’s one just down the road from me & it looks awesome.

Another recommendation for Birchdown.
Top guys!
They do all the work on my 182 Trophy & routine servicing on the V6 [emoji1303]

There was a red one I used to see in Birchwood, Warrington on a daily basis a few years ago.
I think it’s rare for a reason. Wasn’t a fan compared to the grey.
Could be different if I saw one today?!?
