theirs nothing goes wrong with a 172 tbh, if its had its cambelt done properly then they are sound.

your main problem as far as i can see is the PH2 dashboard is controlled by the UCH, the ph1 isnt afaik so its not transferable without doing that too!

as above JC5 box from a DCi 80 isn't any stronger than a JC5 172/182 box but better ratios for a turbo car. DCi 65's use a weaker JB3 gearbox
