Not leds , but i got some philips bluevison sidelight bulbs free with my silvervisions , i have these in my interior and map light . Slightly brighter and whiter than the originals .
WD40 for me as FM-696 says , spray it onto an old cloth and rub into the plastic . Voila , white marks gone ;)
I have the Blackwow , but yet to try it .
I struggled for half an hour trying to get the drivers side led in . I have pretty big hands and it was impossible to hold the bulb holder with one hand and push the led in with the other .
Got it sussed now though . Get a piece of 10mm plastic tubing , put the led in the end of the tube ...
Just take any power gains from any exhaust manufacturer with a pinch of salt . Having said that , i had a Powerflow ( Burnley ) stealth on my old 172 and was very happy with it .
This is my spare wheel i refurbed .
If you go to a good body shop suppliers they should be able to mix up some paint that is a good match and put it in aerosols for you .
Rover stone grey .
From this :

Only the wheel was sprayed not the centre cap , so i'm happy...
None are a perfect match . I had some Rover stone grey knocked up at a local body shop supplies , but he tweaked it slightly adding a bit more red . Peugeot cossack grey is similar , Ford do one as well thats similar , forgot the name though . But like i said none are 100% perfect .
Iirc...
I was just thinking you'll have two 90 degree elbows then a reducer inside the elbow going behind the headlight , this might make it a bit too long and push the filter too far towards the wing , unless of course you cut down one of the 90 degrees . I'd just stick to all 70mm , elbows , alloy...
Just go for one with a 70mm inlet , if you get a reducer you'll also be adding to the length of the pipe and might struggle fitting the filter in . Off the top of my head its 14mm for the crankcase breather pipe .
Go for it mate . You'll most likely get slagged off for heat soak but i doubt it will suffer any at all . I looked at ITG foam filters before but i wasn't sure on the actual size of the filter so i opted for a green cotton filter . I suppose you could always ring merlin and ask them how big they...
I've owned a PH2 172 and i currently own a 182 with cup packs . It's basically the same car , cosmetic differences on the 182 are the twin exhausts , alloys , usually anthracite as most have cup packs ,larger rear spoiler ,front splitter and silver seat belts .
Performance , no difference ...
Not being funny mate . But i wouldn't have bought it with the service light on . Was it from a garage or a private sale ? If it was from a garage take it back to the garage you bought it from .
Taking the bulb out isn't really solving any underlying problem , just hiding it .
I have one . Also a k+n cone filter . No difference in them . I just swap them round when i clean them .
12th post down .

You'll be the first to do it in anthracite . Who knows you might start a revolution ,lol . I'm thinking about spraying mine in black so i don't have to keep using trim gel on it to remove the white marks .
I wouldn't bother tbh mate . Flog the Clio and buy a left hooker when you get there . It'll be a right pain in the arse driving on the right and having a right hand drive as well . You'll soon get fed up .
You sound like one unhappy punter . But what car manufacturer sells a stripped car as a standard model that is capable and legally allowed to tow ?
Who ever said the RS Clio was " hard core " ? There are alot better , more " hard core " models as you call them on the market . But pound for...
It doesn't chirp when i kick the tyre . It sounds like you've had a different sensor fitted to my glass breakage sensor which was a free extra .
Dennis is a top bloke . I first had one fitted on my 172 back in Nov 2001 . 4 years later it false alarmed a few times . I rang him up , said it was...
Get yourself a Green cotton cone filter , custom made airbox , job done ;)
