    Peco Backbox

Powerflow aren't expensive . Don't know where you get that idea from tommyboy . It was only £270 for a full stainless catback for my old 172 . It was £120 for the backbox . Check on here for your nearest powerflow outlet : http://www.powerflowexhausts.net/dealerlocator.cfm

    Brake Fluid Changed!

^^^^ Thats a new one on me mate . Why would you want to suck the old fluid out of the reservoir ?? Just crack the nipple , pump the pedal and top up the reservoir as you bleed the old fluid out . If you gonna use 2 litres you'll have new fluid to all the calipers as the 172 / 182 system only...

Going France - Headlights??? GB Stickers???

Not sure the beam deflectors will work if you have xenons tbh . I think they were designed for normal lights . Your also supposed to take things like a first aid kit , high vis vest , red warning triangle , spare bulbs etc ..... just if you should get pulled by the police and they want to be...

    PC usa - uk transformer

It won't blow up if it has less power .I would imagine it'll run just as good as a higher rated transformer .

    PC usa - uk transformer

I wouldn't imagine the pc being that power hungry .I can't say 100% for sure but thats my guess anyway . Plug it and try it , best way to find out .

    PC usa - uk transformer

The va bit is the voltage / amp rating . Its to do with what appliance your running off the transformer , bigger transformers usually have a larger kva rating and more often than not 2 output plugs for running more than one thing at once .

    Depreciation

I have to disagree with part of your statement Ad . Selling private is the best way . A general rule of thumb is never part ex if you don't have to . You'll get rock bottom price for the motor your part exchanging as the dealer wants to make money on the vehicle he's selling and then the...

    Purely Gadgets .co.uk

Pixmania were fine for me . Saved just over £100 on a camcorder compared to anywhere in the UK , plus it was the latest model which wasn't released over here for another 6 months . English manuals , 2 year warranty . I'd use them again anway .

    Clio V6 on Autotrader

You've got to ask yourself why its so low mileage . I know alot of people have them for weekend toys , but it also could have been off the road for a long time being repaired .

Can't fault the Talex . They're in Aldi tomorrow morning only £59.99 ;) , get there as the doors open at 9am as they usually go within minutes .

Like Rich says . They probably all contain salt so it softens the water and helps foam up better .

    Cracked Windscreen

Check the diagram on the website in my previous post . I would assume that autoglass have more idea than all the MOT testers on here , lol ;)

    www.172cup.co.uk ???

No problems for me , i have avg as well . Take it with a pinch of salt that they are trojans , alot of anti virus software like to make you think they've blocked or intercepted something so that you think its a good product and you might buy the full version .

    Little black spots

Sounds like it is tar mate tbh , even though its not summer . You could try AG intensive tar remover , or clay .

    condensation

My 172 was piss wet under the back seat and spare wheel well . I was gonna sort it but sold it before i got round to it . They can leak from the black grommets in the tailgate . Take em out , silicon sealant them back in .

    Cracked Windscreen

I'd get it changed asap , if another stone hits it it could crack right across . As said , get on the blower to your insurance company , its only usually about £50 - £60 excess .
  29. MRBILLYUK

    Cracked Windscreen

If its a proper crack and not a chip it will need replacing . Plus if its in your line of vision its an MOT fail .
