Super low buckets are a pain on a road car. I ran mine super low in my old car to start with, becauseracecar and all that shite but soon changed it to actually suit me personally
It doesn't need the extra power. 300 and a good driver is more than enough to see off most stuff on the road and track.
I'm going that route mainly to have the extra poke to keep up with friends boosted track cars. Plus when it was that power before it still felt slow. Be better with less...
May as well make this a project thread now, Not much to update really. Running XP8's up front now with some RC5+'s on the rear couple with some custom J-Hook discs. Noisy but performance is superb.
Switched back to road tyres at the end of last year instead of Semi slicks, On PSS's for now...
Why don't you just save that money for something worthwhile, Like an actual quick Clio instead of wasting money of making your 1.2 sound like every other chavs Clio?
Just ordered a few bits for doing a mates car later this week as my supplies have been running low,
Iron-X
Tardis
CG Hex pads
Scholl S17+
Some microfibres
Aye mate, Hybrid/Bigger injectors and ill need to get a decent FMIC. Should see ~360bhp. More than enough and any more would require a forged engine and I'm not willing to spend that much on power as it doesnt need it.
Coilovers/Cage and some proper seats will be getting sorted over the winter...
There are a couple places but it isn't V-power or well advertised. Up Ft William way you have the petrol station at Onich, Pump in the middle does super. In town you have Esso and BP then the other side in Oban you have the garage at Bridge of Awe, They used to do super as did the Esso outside...
Looks like similar conditions as to when i was at Spa, Some of the heaviest rain i have ever seen but it never dried up. So much fun in the wet though and it is still once of my best ever trackdays as well
Im curious to this as well, Slightly different but i have the Megane N4 catalogue with all the part No. in it as well, Shame Ads isn't at Renault anymore as that would of been the easiest way to check
Getting it done at the Dreadnought in Callander as my Brembos are needing rebuilt again, Didnt want to trouble the guys at SWR with something as simple as that as they are pretty busy LOL.
Can i give you a message tomorrow and let you know but Sunday at some point will suit me if i can't get...
The R4R swifts don't run Blues.... They run an Endless pad compound.
You ever tried any of the Carbotech or Pagid RS pads?
Spotted your DC2 in various videos and photos from over Easter but was trying to work out where i had seen it, Looks like it was going well and that lap proves it, good work.
So my package containing my brake fluid has been lost by RM, Not ideal as i need it for Monday and i don't think i will be able to get it anywhere else online on time as I'm away first thing Monday morning.
Anywhere in Central belt/ Glasgow area that sells Motul RBF 600? Need 1.5L of the...
You get what you pay for i guess. I personally wouldn't be trying to save a few quid by going for a cheaper brand of seat. Regardless of what certification they have. They are not going to be made with the same standard of materials and to the same high standards as the more "expensive" brands...
I will do eventually mate, Honest!
Just need to find the time, Only downside to doing Agency/Relief work is I'm all over the place.
Once i get my wheels refurb'd and callipers done ill organise getting it to you for a few days ;)
Gave the Megane a wash yesterday, The state of the paintwork is terrible. Swirls galore and the worst thing is i have zero motivation or inclination to sort it out :(
Aye, Those callipers look great. How did you find the VHT paint? Been looking for stuff to re do my Brembos as well as the look shite and had seen the VHT stuff mentioned before
