the 197/200 is a much more rev happy engine, miss that from it compared to the 1*2.
the 197/200 is also made alot better and bigger, so same pace does feel slower than that of the 1*2
this is a brilliant little big project!

are you worried how the twingo driveshafts will hold up with the 172 powerplant?

a good b16 same as vti tuned or fiddle around with vtec will be quick, my mate had one in a integra but even he admited after he bought a 182 it was quicker.

its 180 bhp from a 1.6 and its not sub 6 seconds to 60
theyre slower than a EP3 (type r) and i can beat my mates one
steering wheel is too big
and because of the harnesses my service light is always on, so is my airbag light!
and on longer journeys my engine management light comes on :(
todays little jobs, took off old "Renault Sport" badge and replaced with the current "Renault Sport" badge from the 197/200:
