You've checked one small wire, so it's not a wiring issue ?? Have you checked the big earth strap that always goes, from the gearbox to the chassis ?

What about an Eonon (?) android type of unit... or is the IP a stupid shape so it won't work/ they don't make one ? Is it a nice white, or flat/boring.. some of the pearly ones like Ford's non-flat white is wonderful !

It won't fail an MOT as you found out.. so why are you messing about with it ? Get it read at some point in the future and see what the actual issue is. Where are you based ? Someone local will have Clip or even a cheap code reader.

Why would you order a key that you think will not fit ? Hammer a chisel into the centre of it, then use mole-grips or something to get some leverage to loosen it...?! if in doubt - warm it up first.. maybe ?

You can get tools at halfords or screwfix that will do the job.. or call a local tyre fitters and see if they'll do it. Get rid of them and just use normal bolts instead for this exact reason.. No one is going to steal your wheels !

Is that with you driving it at 60mph for 15 miles or the wife driving on the way to work ? It could be anything.. Just a s**t heavy car with an underpowered engine. The 197s are awful on fuel. Shocking driving.. maybe she drives everywhere at 5000rpm or just drives really inefficiently...

TBH I prefer the gold !

Buy a £500 mk2 dCi 100. It will do 70mpg and feel much faster than your 1.2 as it has as much torque as a 172. Spending more than £500 to save money is a ridiculous idea.

Got bass ports ? Get some foam in there.. kills the bass a decent amount. Thought I'd fcuked my new speakers a week after I got them.. forgot I'd put the foams in to see what happened. Diiiickhead. Detached ftw tho. Fcuk having to listen to other people !

Definitely want a sound bar, and not an AV amp & some speakers ? I got a new Denon 4k AV amp and a pair of second hand British £2k floor standers recently for about your budget, which look and sound absolutely fantastic. Appreciate for some it might be space or just ease of use..

Have you got a workshop ? Are you going to be doing the work yourself ? It's a huge undertaking but not impossible. Is it literally to get a 5-door car that is relatively quick ? Why not sell the 1.4 Clio and buy a 1.6 Focus if you need 5 doors ?! Especially as I am assuming you're not...
