You will need them. Sportlines can be done without compressors. Anything which lowers less than the 45mm they do it's a very tough/impossible task. My eibach prokit needed compressors. They're about £6 from ebay! Just buy some. I've used mine loads now I've got them

I do and it's good for most things. Not sure on the differences between the good and bad ones but my uk bought one is apparently a goodun. I have had problems with reprog but it's highly unlikely you'd need that. Time spent researching what you want to do is time well spent though!!

Paid £62 for the steering wheel. Had to buy another spare mk3 wheel though because it came without a horn section for some reason (eBay dispute in process) bought a cup spoiler this week off eBay for less than £70 so that should be a nice addition when it's painted

Sounds like the connection supplying 12v to the ECU with the cruise switch is a little on the fudge

^what he said. Torx screw takes off the cruise buttons and the screw holes are on all steering wheels

That is something to do with a wiring fault I think. Maybe a loose connection. Should be one though if it's all soldered! makes me want spacers, maybe I'll have to get myself on eBay again
