Take your pick.
Maybe something like this to start you off ...
Put the chamois in the bin.
SRP isn't a polish. It's just fillers. Get someone to polish it with a machine or buy a DAS-6 from CYC/i4D and pads/polish too. Maybe a kit to start you off ?
Nah.
Black ones were painted with .. well, christ knows what. Badly. Also one of the wheels is D shaped so 40-90 was varying levels of wobblyfuntasticness.
Initial testing suggests silver ones are hopefully straight.
You'll really struggle to correct anything by hand. 99% of the stuff on the market will be just fillers. Black hole, etc.
Being able to do what a machine polisher does, by hand will leave you unconscious in minutes haha :o
You could SRP, then black hole/prima amigo then wax or zaino it...
Bilberry is basically a brake-dust remover .. so, perfect for wheels obviously. Buy a litre, use it at about 5:1 and see how you get on. Spray, agitate, PW off.
Properly sealed wheels shouldn't need any more than a bit of suds or even just a pressure-wash IME.
Certainly shouldn't need to...
You won't.
SRP isn't a polish - it mostly fills. Fairly pointless IMO.
I'd take it to someone like White Details (http://www.whitedetails.co.uk/) and then just treat it properly post-correction.
Might cost you £200 for a 1-day tickle rather than a full correction (I'm guessing) but it...
Ha.
Well, the shed is now shod with silver .. er .. schweels.
Pics to follow.. but it looks the same as before. Except it's dirty with clean silver wheels.
Anyone want a film camera ?

Sash is selling one as above..
Hankook V12s .. decent enough all rounders. Have used them for years. Mid-range price, but spot on IMO.
Those energy saver tyres offer less rolling resistance therefore less grip, and when you look into it, they save you something hilarious like 200 miles of petrol over 12,000... which is...
Welcome.
Black standard alloys will look utterly pony.
Wind deflectors are a fad I wish would go away. They look pony.
No need to upgrade speakers if you're upgrading the HU + fitting a sub.
Job done.
Good luck with the test. Don't become a statistic ! :o
Yup.
I like to be different. Plus I'd have been disappointed if it only put out 30hp, and if it was putting out 200, so what ? :approve:
Knowing the scoob is healthy and above book was far more interesting and useful !
Because I know who did the belts last .. I'm not worried about a lack of horses.
Plus, it's a Clio and there was hundreds of the ruddy things at SRR :o
FYI: It looks like yours .. but it's yellow.
Cheers ears :approve:
BlunderBus was more important on the rollers than this as there's nowt done engine wise.
Feels like a strong enough one anyway so it'll do unless I start being overtaken by milkfloats regularly :o
