From experience, I do find cars with a/c steam up much much faster than those without.. I'd guess it's the different rates of flow from outside through the HVAC unit. But obviously as a/c is basically just a de-humidifier, the windows clear quick and stay clear with it on.

Suggest you get your a/c working too ;) oh and clean the inside of your windscreen properly...

Did you not put the a/c on ? For the sake of <£10, change the pollen filter as suggested. Top left under the scuttle panel with the bonnet up. Two tiny M6's IIRC and slide the cover out. Pretty easy job really.

So .. to summarise .... Soft tyres last longer than hard tyres and the more economical the tire is, the softer it actually is and you can make a cheese sandwich with hard budget tyres. FLOL.

Budgets will last for ever because they are made from granite and offer no grip. If you're doing 100 miles a week .. any of the tyres will need replacing due to fatigue before they actually wear to the markers :S Buy the best tyres you can afford. Budgets are a false economy IMO + IME !!
