Ooh. Well I've gotta be home for about 1pm .. is it better to go north up the M25 instead !? Will be going right past that show as it opens and I don't want to sit there for an hour !
Read the manual ..
You might find that the min focusing distance is 1.5m unless you're in macro mode ?
Failing that .. bring it to me (don't think you're too far away!) .. if I can't get a half decent shot then it can't be user error :rasp:
If Scott comes up Lower Dunton Lane and meets us at Ford's Showroom .. 09:30 ?

You can buzz the A127 and meet me there easy enough...?
As stated in line one of the opening post .. HD Hero, Gaz ;)
Does 1080p @ 30fps, 720p @ 60/30fps and lesser resolutions.
I'd guess it's 2-3 years old now but not entirely sure.
Just gone to do that and I think it's working :D
I guess it sees a computer (or the comp sees it) and does things that just a power input wont.
Going to give it 30 mins and see if there's anything to adjust then go for an overnight one or something !
:D
Surely a 'proper' video would use far more battery, taking, essentially 60/30 shots a second, not 1 every 5-60 seconds ?!
Mine's the HD Hero, so very old version - when it's running USB it doesn't seem to like to do anything else ? :S
Another mindless day at home .. so I set the camera up for some more time lapse !
Kinda forgot I'd used it a few times so the battery only lasted about an hour :o
One shot every 10 seconds (or was it 5?) until the battery died.
I love how the clouds have so many different levels and...
Pretty sure it was on BBCs Coast show once upon a time :o It's on the north coast of Wales somewhere, Liverpool end ?!
Found it .. https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=duke+of+lancaster+ship&ll=53.306044,-3.235259&spn=0.004744,0.008068&safe=off&hq=duke+of+lancaster+ship&t=h&z=17
Not in a FWD car trying to pull out of corners !!
Seriously - book an evening session or taster session at Brands/Bedford with the car as it is and see how you get on.
Use your 182 - make sure there's decent brakes (Pagids from Danny519 will do) and unless you're only going to do a taster session, from my experience, get some decent rubber - road rubber will not do you any favours on more than a couple of laps.
I used the GF's old 182 for a couple of track...
Speak to Spray-Shack on here (Trader I think?) .. Pretty sure they're around Reading / M3/M4 area.
But, as mentioned, you want the whole car done in 3 days ?!
I've also never seen a Clio (mk2 anyway) peel, let alone on the roof !! :S
Jiggle your camera about out of the cage, then do the same when it's locked in the cage. See if you can hear anything ?
I'm with you on the 'it's a GoPro feature' sort of noise...
:dapprove:
