    DSLR Camera Under £200? HELP

www.ebay.co.uk :S With that sort of budget, you're probably going to get an older lower spec Canon/Nikon with a kit lens. Nothing wrong with them at all - it's the photographer that is key in taking good photos.

    Today I went shooting.

Reading the stickies TBH :rasp: Why did you bump the ISO ? Sunny daylight would need 100 or less.

CW ? Canary Wharf ?! Didn't get within 5 miles of the place... I will ask my resident security expert who is popping in for a cuppa in about half an hour though on his thoughts :)

If you're on 3G rather than WiFi, your provider sucks the life out of photos, so hopefully just that. Going full size, they're not perfect but at 800px wide vs 3500px they look spot on to me. Check them out on computer later and come back to me ;)

    Water in exhaust centre pipe??

Tell him to drive it harder once the exhaust has been replaced. When it's up to temp and under load water should not be hanging about in the pipes...

    Water in exhaust centre pipe??

    C8H18 + 12.5O2= 8CO2 + 9H2O Don't worry about it.

    Photography Chat and Questions Thread

Cheers guys. I understand them as a 'safety factor' sort of thing but I meant their official use. I'll probably just leave it in the bag for a reason yet to be apparent :o

    Photography Chat and Questions Thread

Properly retarded question ... UV Filters. What's the point ? Bought one for a couple of lenses years ago, still got one left [77mm if anyone wants to make me an offer]. I never ever use it. What is the point of them (serious question) on a day to day basis ?!

    Newbie Pics

Read the stickies. VERY IMPORTANT: Composition & rule of thirds. Once you've got these nailed, learn how to break them (the rules). Don't shoot in full manual - a lot of people try to 'because they can' but in the end, they don't know what they're doing so it's utterly pointless. Shoot in...

    My Astra

Err. Tow strap is awful, from a 'looks crap' perspective and from a 'actually using it to tow the car' perspective. They are dreadful things. Tyres need tyre shine. Lots of it. Beading is not really beading, oh and good work on taking it to the immigrants. But other than...

    Sigma 18-35mm f1.8

Saw this earlier... looks good and here's hoping there's floodgates open for fast lenses 'for the masses' ! I'd guess £500-1000 (bit broad....) but only because it's a niché at the moment for crop sensor cameras.
