What's wrong with the Hankooks ?
From what people have said, the sidewalls are to soft in 15" ... They are fab in the rain though :)
They look tiny .. silly fat mk3's .. need spacing out as a minimum !
I would probably run them for a bit, find some new wheels or one more to match your old set then bung these on eBay.

How much do you weigh ? Trying to save 1kg on a car if you weigh more than 60kg is pretty daft IMO.

Tyres seem to be a very grey area .. everyone's got an opinion on them. People's driving style and different cars make a difference.
I had T1Rs on the scoob and I hated them, but had them in 15" on Sash's dCi and...
Had V12s on my Ph1 for a while, in 16".. thought they were fantastic.
Got them on my bus now in 17" and they are superb wet and dry. Wet especially. Would recommend them to anyone.
Paradas in 15" were mega soft but had no issues with them for 2 years on the Ph1. Wouldn't run them again...
How far away do you work ?! Pull a sicky, get a lift off a workmate / your dad / a friend / a cab / the bus / walk.
Ignorance or excuses like "I had no option" would probably not even get you off if you were taking someone to hospital that had just lost a leg or two, unfortunately.
