North Weald is a no - no. Last time we couldn't get on site (admittedly there were 50-odd cars there..) to get to the cafe and I don't fancy standing around in a cold wet concrete yard again haha :o
They knew we were coming before we got there... CS isn't a secret. It's public info ;)...
Unevenly worn tyres would be a larger worry for me than having different tread patterns I think :S
One side is a few years old, hard and has 3mm left, the other is new, soft and has 10mm of tread... I'm sure you'll be fine but there'll be one wet corner one day that bites you.

Did you measure the arch gap before/after ?
Don't go to full lock, or buy some spacers, assuming it's rubbing on the inside sidewall...?
Lowering the car changes the geometry... do your homework before changing things in future ;)
Go drive a couple of Ph1s.. are there many over your way ?!
I prefer the Ph1 about a million times over the Ph2. I've had both and driven many of both kinds over the years.
Ph1 is nicer to drive, looks better and is rarer, does better MPGs (hi can'o'worms) too.
Ph2 has more electric...
When I had mine powdercoated, the guy sprayed the caps for me.
I've not noticed them being any different but really, how often are you going to be looking at them / close enough to notice if it's a shade out !?

If you really think you have a problem, call Mick. Not too far from you...
Does it get mega hot on the gauge when driving normally ?
Do you ever drive over 2500RPM ?
Go for a nice long drive .. half hour or so. After 15 mins, make sure it's driven properly... use all the revs (legal speeds, obviously...)... get it properly warm (keeping an eye on the temp gauge...
