Just download the gnome ISO, boot off it and once in delete the SD then format it with fat32 leaving a GB free and format that with ext3. The run the ROM and it all works as it should. Takes ages to install this one though. Thought it had gone wrong for a while lol.

Well after looking into this stuff a bit more I got round to creating a EXT3 partition using Gnome Partition Editor so I can now have plenty of apps installed. I tried the Cynogen7 ROM but wasn't keen on it tbh. It did everything it was meant to quite well but still found myself...
Not at all.
You can get good/bad LCD, good/bad LCD with LED backlight, and good/bad Plasma although I don't think you can get a new Plasma under 42" if not more so you wont be wanting one anyway.

Hmm one thing I've noticed is that the phone memory has run out very quickly with the LeeDroid ROM:dapprove:. I think I might have to give CyanogenMod7 a go after the weekend to see if it's any better...
If that was mine then I'd use some trunking. Something like this although it might be cheaper elsewhere...

Most of the ROM's I've seen come with titanium backup but not tried any overclocking stuff yet.
I was bored the other night so finally decided to get round to rooting my HTC Desire.
I used Unrevoked 3.3 which was very easy.
I've then tried LeeDroid Gingerbread 3.0.7 with Sense.
So far it doesn't seem much different but it all seems to work and has a few nice extras. I was hoping to...
As said before use Acronis and Drivermax before you undertake any rebuilds etc...
For the time it takes it will pay for it's self one day. I learn't this the hard way:(.
Couple of tips for you...
1, Just stick Windows 7 on as it's loads better at finding drivers and generally loads better.
2, Before you flatten any machine your working on take a full image of it using Acronis and the like AND/OR get all the drivers off it before hand using Drivermax, it's free...
