No mate just lift the seat bases out and then pull the covers off. Should be fairly easy to spot where you need to pull once you pull the seat base up and have a look

Did it on my last 172 aswell, and I still say, pound for pound its the best mod you can do. Not a massive increase in power like you'd get on a turbo motor, but drivability is so much better.
Fattys induction kit sounds nuts at 7500rpm too. Won't be goin up there too often though
I think it took me untill about 9pm to realise all food at the BBQ was free. I just couldn't seem to grasp that it was all free until it ran out. I blame the beer lol
